Jason finally bought a car. After months of test driving and pricing , may I present:
The Saab 9-3 Sports Sedan.

Steps to becoming a Yuppie:
1. Buy a Saab.
2. Learn to play golf.
Halfway there!

A week in Vegas with Julie and Charlie, and all I brought back with me is a sinus infection and a new huge fever blister. But at least the casino can't take that away from me!!! Being drunk for 4 days straight does very little to help one's immune system.
I think we have about 20 bucks left for the rest of the month but, as usual, it was SO worth it. We were drunk at 9 am almost every day which means we were ready to pass out by noon - but instead, we went out and walked around in the blazing heat. Not smart physically or financially but a whole lotta fun. About half way during our walk to the Luxor, Jason stopped sweating all over and started shooting a steady stream sweat out the side of his head. See photo.
No, not really, but he did almost combust.
These are the typical "it is really fucking hot and we have already walked about 5 miles, so would you please stop taking pictures of me, you whore?!?" poses.
Charlie finished his Bachelor's degree and graduated like 2 days before we left for Vegas? But -Trust me, we did not look like 4 college educated individuals while we were stumbling around in the desert.
Also, Charlie's 40th Birthday landed smack in the middle of our Vegas trip - if I would have known I would have made him wear the world's largest party hat and Elton John sunglasses that whole day. At least some kind of Hunter S. Thompson getup... I wonder why he didn't tell us in advance? This isn't over, just wait... I'll get him when he least expects it. Next time we get him shitty drunk he's gonna wake up the next day in assless chaps and a t-shirt that says Forty and Fab-u-lous. Now that will be a blog!
I know most of you have been to Vegas so I won't bore you with many pictures of the landmarks, just with pictures of us.
A mirrored ceiling is always handy.
There is a war going on at my house. It involves the computer's desktop wallpaper and it is getting brutal.
I start with something Zen and calming like:

But after a couple of days I come home to find this:

So I tried this (Stolen from the Daily Oliver):

Uh, no...

Right now this is where we are, and I think the only reason it has stayed so long is that someone told Jason that this is the castle where they filmed part of the Highlander movie. As far as I know this is the Eilean Donan Castle and I have no idea where we got this picture.
I can't wait to see what kind of crap will end up on my monitor when the Transformers movie comes out! I keep you posted.
