Last night we went to the movies and saw The Prestige, and it rocked. Other than the fact that it had Hugh Jackman AND Christian Bale in the same movie ( Grrrrrr...ooh...laa...laa...meow...purr...), it had an awesome plot that kept you hooked - and you really had to pay attention. The Prestige is one of those movies that you talk about for the rest of the night and, as a matter of fact, we are still talking about it today. We will just be sitting in total silence in the car and out of nowhere one of us will just jump into mid-thought talking about it. Even the supporting roles rocked: Micheal Caine and for Pete's sake, even David Bowie.
I challange you to name one movie that David Bowie has been in that you don't absolutely love!
Lots of twists and turns, and I might have to watch it again to really figure it out. I still can't decide who I think is the hero and who is the villian. Or if there is that distinction at all.
Loved it, loved it, loved it, still loving it.
You know Jason loved it, I mean come on, its Wolverine versus Batman!

Oh, how sweet. Doesn't she look like the sweetest thing? Not if you're our mailman...
The other day this sweet thing opened the front door (that doesn't latch correctly) and confronted the mailman, who promptly maced her. Well, actually it was pepper spray but I think he got his point across. I was at work, and Jason was asleep but I guess when Lexy started clawing and scratching at the door to open it, the noise woke him up. He said by the time he got outside, grabbed Lexy and realized he was standing in front of our mailman in his boxers, it was too late - she'd done been peppered. Jason, in all his partially naked glory, talked to the mailman, who said that she didn't bite him, but the next day we had a different mailman -Which leads me to believe that it was the shock of seeing that much of my husband exposed that forced him to take a day off to recover.
The dog has since recovered. He said that she blinked really hard and pawed at her face for a few minutes, but after a quick bath she went back to being her normal totally -insane- self shortly thereafter.
I don't blame the mailman for spraying her - I personally think the mailman would have been justified in peppering her with a shotgun, but then again, I know her. I'm considering getting some of that spray for day to day use to control the dog- and Jason when he's in his boxers.
And I'm still pissed at Lexy for what she did to our back door.
Rabid beavers? No, just my dog.
