Check out Lisa Hannigan (and her awesome group of lads). I saw them in concert when she opened for Jason Mraz. She's the best thing to come out of Ireland since Guiness and Danny Ahern.

Before the concert I had never heard of her, so here is your link, and years from now you can tell people that you're the one who brought her music to America. Hey, if Al Gore invented the internet...

Otherwise, these past few weeks have streamed past before I knew it and here we are in the midst of February. In just a week or so we will welcome Morgan home for his mid-Iraq-tour (middle of the tour, not the middle of Iraq) break. Just a couple of weeks so he can get the little woman to sew up the holes in his socks and then back into outerspace for a few short months. ( And all the science, I don't understand. Its just my job five days a week...)
And by request, here are some of the pictures from our New Year's Eve party. The theme was Vintage Prom, and our awesome friends met that challenge with ... zest... they were zesty. See for yourself. ( I was a diva that night and changed dresses 3 times- because when you spend $3 for a dress at a thrift shop, damn it, it gets worn.) For some drunk reason there are almost no pictures of the 3rd dress, but believe me, it was slammin'.
I'll post the rest of the pic when I figure out where I put them. But for now, you'll get the idea.
